Hello! I’m Amanda, welcome to my blog Belbublly. I’ve started this little space to share my love for home design, decor, gardening and a whole lot more.

I actually started this blog back in November but as I was in my glory with holiday decorating I got ahead of myself and didn’t do a proper welcome post ☺️

After forgoing an architect, designer, landscaper etc on our recent custom-built home, I realized that while my husband and I might be a bit crazy 😉 I love designing beautiful and functional spaces.

 


Once we started the build process, I started documenting it and had planned on blogging about it as it came together. Turns out, it was a painfully looong process, we are talking years, so there would’ve been zero instant gratification seeing the build unfold and we all know the before and after transformations are the best part about seeing a project come to fruition. Now that the endless hiccups upon hiccups of our build process are in our rear view, I can share all of the tips and fun details I found along the way.



I always love seeing before and after transformations! If you’ve ever been in the middle of a renovation or a construction project, you know how the ending can seem so far out of reach but once it comes together, it feels amazing!

No doubt designers and architects are huge assets to any custom build but it is certainly possible to create your dream space on your own. So if you like home design and decor or if you’re building a new home or renovating an existing home, I hope you will follow along with me!
