Whether you’re hosting this Halloween or just having fun at home with the family, decorating a spook-tacular Halloween table always helps get you in the spirit. It’s easy to throw together a table fit for a frightful feast.

First off, candles! Candles are key to any Halloween landscape. There are lots of great fake candles but if you use real ones (like these here),  make sure to burn them so the wax is clumpy and drippy which gives them a spooky vibe.

Second, spooky cloth, this is a cheap and easy way to mess it up a bit and make it look eerie. There’s no formula to this, just drape or scatter. A messy look works when it comes to Halloween.
Apothecary jars are a great decor piece to have because you can use them for so many different occasions! For Halloween, I love putting moss inside mine with skulls, eye balls or snakes…super creepy!

Skulls and skeletons! These are great ways to take your spook up a notch. I love to get all different sizes and mix it up. Add different heights by setting some up, I sometimes use candle holders and set skeleton heads on top. Don’t forget to add moss all around your Halloween-scape, especially around your skeletons. Glass candle holders or just clear glass bottles (wine bottles even) with melted candles are great to add in here and there!

Spooky trees and spooky wreaths add fun too. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, find some good, old branches outside and spray paint them black.
Let’s not forget spiders, bats and snakes! Adding these lil critters always ups the creep factor! And a little spider web goes a long way! Chandeliers are great spots for these creepers.

Pumpkins are also a cheap addition. There are so many options here. If you want real spook, go black, white or green and if you’re going less spook, more cute, grab pumpkins in every color! A lot of stores carry great fake ones. I love a little velvet and glass pumpkin mix match up!

Lastly, the placemats, napkins and napkin rings! Of course napkin rings aren’t a necessity but since there are so many cool ones to be found, they’re worth it because they’re cheap and they pack a punch! Anything goes for placemats and napkins. Whatever your Halloween-themed table-scape is, just go with the colors and textures that would work best for napkins and placemats! I love a cotton wrinkled look.

We are coming up on Halloween so you’ll be sure to find decor pieces all over and they will most likely be on sale. Don’t be afraid to think ahead to next year and stock up on great deals, I’ve found some of my coolest pieces the week after Halloween.

Happy Happy Halloweening! 🎃
