Are you hosting this weekend or are your dinners more low key? Either way you donβt have to go all out to get your dining room holiday ready. Simple works just fine.
Since I canβt hold out until the end of November to decorate for Christmas, I always decorate my dining room to work for the holiday season. A gold color scheme works for any occasion but itβs especially perfect for a holiday tablescape. Gold covers Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.
Here are a few easy tips for a simple yet beautiful tablescape idea for the holidays.
A floral centerpiece. I love fresh flowers so I always try to throw them in here and there all throughout the year. Here I used some pinkish/orange roses to bring a Fall/Thanksgiving vibe to the table then threw in some red roses for a lilβ pop. After Thanksgiving I changed this out to some poinsettias mixed with cut roses πΉSwitching out the centerpiece is an easy way to mix it up all season long.
Glittery and glass table trees are great accents because they are simple and bring in different heights to your tablescape. I do three on each side of my centerpiece, super easy!
Speaking of trees, these Christmas trees are perfect for a dining room because theyβre tall and slender. I kept the gold theme going on the trees. No matter what holiday colors are trending, you can be sure to always find beautiful gold holiday decor. Itβs so nice to enjoy holiday dinners amidst the twinkle of Christmas tree lights.
Now for the actual place settings, I love practical, washable ones that still have a bit of glam. These snowflake and Christmas trees ones are perfect.
Napkins and napkin rings are a fun, easy and cheap way to up your table setting game and bring in a bit more sparkle. I love mixing it up here.
Now all you need is the delicious food and you are set! Wasnβt that easy?
Happy holidays and happy decorating πβ¨
